Ditch the .techfleet.dev URL. Point your own domain to your Sour Sync storefront in minutes — SSL included, no server setup required.
From setup to live in under 15 minutes
Head to Settings → Custom Domain in your Sour Sync dashboard. No subscription, no add-on — it's included on every plan.
Type your desired domain (e.g. shop.yourcompany.com) in the domain settings form.
Create a CNAME record at your registrar pointing your subdomain to the Sour Sync storefront endpoint shown in your settings.
Once DNS propagates (typically under 10 minutes), your domain activates automatically. Your buyers are now landing on your branded URL.
EXAMPLE DNS CONFIGURATION
Add one CNAME record at your registrar — takes 30 seconds.
| Type | Name / Host | Value / Target | TTL |
|---|---|---|---|
| CNAME | shop | storefronts.techfleet.dev | 300s |
Your exact CNAME target is shown in Settings → Domain after subscribing.
Replace yourstore.techfleet.dev with shop.yourcompany.com. Buyers see your domain — not ours.
Sour Sync automatically provisions and renews a TLS certificate for your domain. HTTPS is enabled from day one.
Subscribe, enter your domain, add a CNAME DNS record to your registrar, and you're live. No server config required.
Sour Sync monitors DNS propagation and activates your domain the moment your records are detected — no manual triggers.
Your storefront is indexed under your own domain. Buyer trust signals, Google Search Console — all under your brand.
Add, verify, and remove your custom domain from the settings panel. No support tickets needed.
No add-on, no upgrade. Just point your DNS and go live.
Can I use a root domain (apex)?
Yes. For apex domains (e.g. yourcompany.com), use an ALIAS or ANAME record instead of CNAME. Cloudflare DNS supports this natively with their "Flatten CNAME" feature.
How long does DNS propagation take?
Typically 1–10 minutes with a low TTL. Up to 48 hours in worst-case scenarios with older registrars. Sour Sync checks every few minutes and activates your domain automatically.
What happens if I remove my domain?
Remove it from settings at any time. Your storefront reverts to the yourstore.techfleet.dev URL — no data is lost.
Is this per-store or per-account?
Per store. Each Sour Sync store can have one custom domain. If you manage multiple stores, each can have its own free domain.
One CNAME record. Your buyers land on your domain, your brand, your storefront.
