Warehouses and locations

Warehouses let you split stock across physical locations. Each unit lives at exactly one warehouse, and orders ship from the warehouse that holds the reserved unit.
Setting up warehouses
- Go to Settings → Warehouses
- Click Add Warehouse and enter a name and address
- Mark one warehouse as Default — it is the from address for new shipping labels
Per-buyer-link warehouse assignment
On a buyer link you can restrict the inventory to units from one specific warehouse. Useful for regional buyers: give your Texas buyer a link that only shows stock from the Texas warehouse.
Transfers
Move units between warehouses by opening the unit detail page and changing Warehouse. The move is logged on the unit timeline.
TIP
Your default warehouse should be the location you most often ship from. You can override it per order on the shipping label purchase screen.
